RAISED ACCESS FLOOR |
Nowadays raised floors are frequently used in offices, hotels, trade centers, museums, airports, banks, hospitals and exhibition centers as a result of technological development, wide-spreading of computers and necessity in more comfortable and complex indoor placing of life-support system. Raised floors solve two problems, i.e. hide the communications and level the flooring underlay. The base of the raised floor system consists of the reference elements onto which panels with a standard size 600 x 600 mm are installed. Saying reference elements we mean pedestals which could be regulated from 50 mm up to 1500 mm height. For exceptional environments it was created a special substructure with top adjustment screw feet to accommodate very low voids from 40 mm to 100 mm. And also a screw down system for high traffic areas. The panel base is wood core chipboard or calcium sulphate, depending on fire safety demands. There is a possibility of quick replanning of different level of floor raising due to its functions changing, modernization or reconstruction in the buildings where raised floors are installed. |
